Pan Pacific Expands In China Hotel Market

 

The Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts announced that they will open a new hotel in Tianjin.

 

The 342-guestroom Pan Pacific Hotel in Tianjin is scheduled to be opened in 2010. The 24-story hotel will provide deluxe guestrooms, suites, dining outlets, and a fitness center. Its 2,378 square meters of meeting facilities include two ballrooms and 15 multi-function rooms. Owned by a joint-venture Tianjin UOL Xiwang Real Estate Development Company Limited, the hotel is one part of the company's diversified development projects as apartment, business building and retail.

 

Gwee Lian Kheng, executive president of Pan Pacific, said that the additional hotel in Tianjin and another new hotel in Singapore will not only allow them grasp the opportunities from the fast development between the Tianjin and Singapore tourism markets, but also meet the increasing requirements for luxury hotels and personalized services in these two areas. The main strategy of the company is to expand their brand around the world, explore and consolidate the markets in global major cities.

 

The Singapore-based Pan Pacific Hotels and Resorts is owned by UOL Group Limited and has 19 luxury hotels with over 7,300 rooms in 11 countries throughout Asia, the Pacific and North America.
